get_array for MAT property gives zero?

The last command always gives a zero while it should return 1 ?

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi @ekostson
PyMAPDL get_array is not using the APDL *GET command, it is using *VGET which does not have that option to return material information.

For reference in case anyone has same issue, it should be like this:

vl=mapdl.get(entity='VOLU',entnum='1', item1='VOLU')
va=mapdl.get(entity='VOLU',entnum='1', item1='ATTR', it1num='MAT')
dde=mapdl.get(entity='MAT',entnum='0',item1='COUNT')
ddens=mapdl.get(entity='DENS',entnum=str(va))
