Describe the Issue
Not all logfiles get the necessary permissions applied.

Expected Behavior
All logfiles access should have been configured.

Actual Behavior
As per the CIS Assessment the following logfiles do not have the right permissions:

Image

This is happening because the Ansible role adds special sets of permissions for different logfiles, as CIS requests. This is perfectly fine and correct, but the rest of the logfiles that do not fall into the categories described by the Ansible role, do not have the right access configured for them.

Control(s) Affected

  • Control 6.2.2.1

Environment (please complete the following information):

  • branch being used: [e.g. devel]

Additional Notes
Anything additional goes here

Possible Solution
The solution will be provided in a PR.
