Running discovery on its own?

Is there a way to run discovery on its own? or how do you integrate arrow client to a react native app? I'm trying to run it on a RN to provision cameras using something like https://github.com/Terrahop/react-native-rust-demo if it's feasible.

Hi @cleett! Thank you for your interest in our project. It definitely is possible to trigger the network scan when you see fit. See: https://github.com/angelcam/arrow-client/blob/master/src/client.rs#L378

Regarding an integration with a react native app - I'm afraid that this will be quite hard. The Arrow client uses libpcap for the network scan, so you'll need to compile libpcap for the target platform. It also needs raw access to the target network interface and this requires elevated privileges. On Linux, it can be solved with file capabilities on the resulting executable. Other platforms may require to run the app under root/admin.
