Boolean filters not working

When using a boolean filter, the following error is returned:

```
Error: Assertion failed
    doAssertFailure google-protobuf.js:88
    assert google-protobuf.js:88
    writeBool google-protobuf.js:469
    serializeBinaryToWriter Angular
```

Seems like a grpc library bug, need to investigate further.
