As titled, I have a 2025 Motorola Razr Ultra with the 3.00 Beta HURev app and 17 Beta Android Auto installed. Whenever I enter my car, Android Auto does not auto-start unless I unfold the phone and also unlock it. Android Auto is set on my phone to start even when the phone is locked. I use the wireless helper app and have it set to Wifi Direct while the Android HeadUnit is set to wireless helper as well. Even with both apps set to auto-start when bluetooth connection is established, the headunit never enters Android Auto even after a prolonged time.
The first step I took to troubleshoot was to add Wireless helper to the outside screen to see if it was a connection issue with the phone folded. No luck.
Second step was to unlock my phone while it was folded then try to connect. Same issue.
Third step was to unfold my phone but keep it locked. Still doesn't connect.
Oddly, it seems to be a problem with this app and headunit. I can simply enter my other cars that have wireless Android auto and it will connect even when folded and locked.
