Newbie question

Hi,
(I am sorry if this is not the right forum, if not, please direct me to one):

I am new to proxies and came across this project. A dumb question, using Dom.js, can I intercept all calls made to the window and/or document object by the Web app? If yes, can I run this in a Firefox extension and still intercept all calls? Or if I am running in a Firefox extension, is there a easier way to do that?

Everyone is new to proxies: they're just a new feature of the language and aren't even really stable yet.

dom.js isn't really intended for use in a browser. Eventually we hope it will become part of a new browser. Or you might use it to run webapps on a server or something.

But if you're trying to intercept calls to the window and document, I don't think you need dom.js. You might be able to do that with just a Proxy, but my guess is that it wouldn't work. The window is the global object and proxies don't let you replace that. I'd also guess that you can't set the document property of a window object to a document proxy either.
