This will make it a lot more portable. Because of timing concerns, it is currently reliant on i18n provided by the user

@kdjohnson - I'd like to not rely on the translations webapp sitting inside of Oakland University's tomcat. This is too specific a requirement for a supposedly general purpose calendar. I'd rather the calendar itself have translations built in.
