3.1. Prediction Function

• 3.1.1. Avoid hard-coding negatives in the function. For example a - b should be written a + b and b should be made into a negative value in the parameters argument.
• 3.1.2. Whenever possible, use the parameter names and symbols from the publication.
• 3.1.3. For Greek symbols, use the lower-case english word (e.g., beta).
• 3.1.4. Subscripts should be delineated using underscores.
