by the way, a bit off topic: would it be possible to have a different action keyword for each vault on my system? that would be amazing

Are you asking to replace the ob keyword for each vault or to be able to write this

ob <vault-prefix> <search>

with vault-prefix editable in config ?

or

ob <vault-name> <search>

I will add option to make this a global keyword if possible
like
