How to limit buffering so interactive sessions are not impaired?

The default buffering makes it nearly impossible to use miraclecast for interactive sessions. Is there any way to limit it? If the solution is to specify a third party program for the display of the stream, which one do you suggest and how to make it interact with miraclecast seamlessy?

res/uibc-viewer is just gstplayer with output parsed by miracle-uibctl to report mouse interaction

res/gstplayer contains the gstreamer pipeline in use.
