As part of the onboarding plan, we’re organising a half-day workshop at the office on Friday, 14 March, from 10:00 to 13:00. All ISAs and AAs are invited, and the session will feature interactive activities designed to enhance collaboration and knowledge sharing.

When: Friday 14 March, from 10:00 - 13:00
Where: The Alan Turing Institute (Enigma - TBC; Cipher, Mae Jemison, Florence Nightingale rooms)

Purpose of the Workshop:

  • Get to know each other, connect, be to be able to contact any ISA/AA confidently after the session
  • Build trees of support and
  • master classes suggestions

What needs to be done?

  • Confirm the purpose
  • Prepare the activities and agenda
  • Ask non attendees to send their videos: Ale
  • Prepare the slidedeck
  • Print the materials: AI Adoption Framework (printed copies in each room), BridgeAI Opportunities (printed reference materials), batches
  • Accessibility form

  • A slide of your main support strategies tree/roadmap and 2–3 suggestions of what you consider could be impactful AI masterclasses for SMEs (either general or sector specific)
  • Why is this programme relevant to the UK AI growth plan?

I think the purpose is two-fold:

  • Get to know each other, and empower the ISAs to utilise the network (and lean on each other)
  • Get a picture of everyone's strengths (for us, as much as for them)

Consider:

  • Getting the experienced ISAs to bring some high level scenarios into the session (to avoid starting from scratch)
  • Getting the new ISAs to brainstorm how to combine everyone's superpowers into masterclasses / whether we can form teams of "superheros" 😄 (fresh eyes could be good here!)
  • Asking the experienced ISAs to sort the ideas, as they would be the ones aware of BAI broader context and what SME needs are covered by other offerings
