I just wanted to ask i for example have 1080p resolution 23.6-inch monitor and I am using crt-royale on it the problem is that I think the beams are too big and it's hard to read the text, what is its best resolution also is there any chance for a scale slider to allow change the size of beams

It really works better at 2k or higher, but it should still be okay at 1080p, especially with the new lowres masks I mentioned in the other thread.
And there is a slider for that already. It’s Scanline Thickness in the Scanlines section. You’ll most likely want to set it to 1, 2, or 3 depending on your tastes. You can also try using the digital beam shape to get more even scanlines at that scale.
Oh also try using the Pre-Blur section. Setting the radius to 1 and the number of samples to 1, 2, or 3’ish can sometimes help make things look a little cleaner.
Do be aware, though, that native 1080p text will be difficult to read no matter what you do. Applying a phosphor mask necessarily reduces the effective resolution of the display, so a font intended for 1080p will likely be too thin to show up legibly.
