Seemingly random jumps after unfocusing and refocusing the window, then scrolling with the mousepad. #1293

Which sioyek version are you using? Does it happen on the preview builds here: https://github.com/ahrm/sioyek/releases/tag/sioyek3-alpha0 ? |
Im currently using sioyek-git from the AUR, as the non git build was not
working for a while. I've checked, I've built it last on Jan 21, so from
what i understand im currently using the last commit on the development
branch.
I will try out the preview and report back.

It does happen with your provided build too. I just had a jump occur that scrolled me 2 pages up. (Just so there is no misunderstanding, there is no scrolling animation during these jumps; it just snaps to somewhere in a 5 page radius) |

I checked, and it's empty. I haven't yet configured anything anywhere if I
recall correctly.

If i unfocus the window, then return later, around a third of the time if i try to scroll with the mousepad, it doesn't move for a split second, and then jumps up or down by around 2 pages.
This can be worked around by consequently using j and k when refocusing the window, and only after having used j or k scrolling with the touchpad.
Sadly i can't get it to do this more consistently than around 30% of the time, but its a bit distracting while studying.
