I like the new project-selection sidebar in 1.x, but the session/message UI feels like a regression from 0.9.x.
The current UI is too card-heavy, with excessive borders and spacing. This reduces information density and makes sessions/messages harder to scan.
I’d also like the per-message metrics from 0.9.x restored:
- input/output tokens
- cached tokens
- elapsed seconds per message
These are especially useful when running local LLMs, where cache behavior and inference performance matter a lot.
Ideally, keep the new project sidebar while bringing the session/message area closer to the flatter, denser 0.9.x design.
