There seems to be a bug in the current implementation.

When cloning your repo and starting the BarcodeScanning.Test Project on an android emulator, there is a significant x-axis offset.

The emulator is a Pixel5, running on android34.

Running v1.5.8. No further changes to your project (apart from deleting all macOS and iOS folders, as I get a compile error otherwise).

Did you try this issue on the mentioned emulator?
The problem does not occur on the few real devices we've tested. It would still be beneficial to pinpoint the problem.
