Describe the Feature/Enhancement

Two new buttons to fast-forward and fast-rewind. Similar functionality to the app Listen Audiobooks, or added functionality to the jump forwards / backwards button when they're held down.

Why would this be helpful?

Sometimes in long books it's pretty tedious to get to the correct spot, when the time wasn't synced correctly (or just want to re-listen to an old part). The scrubbing can be imprecise in books > 20 hours long and the rewind 30s button doesn't help much either. These buttons could be a sort of in-between thing between the other already existing buttons.

The speed steps in Listen seem to be:

  • single press: 1 minute
  • hold: 5s/1h, this increases to 1s/1h after some seconds

The speed increase is nice, but probably not needed, not sure if there is a curve or just a simple switch.

A complication is that Audiobookshelf currently has previous / next chapter buttons in these locations, they also serve a similar functionality. Alternatively the jump forwards button could simply keep forwarding when it's held down.

Thanks, I searched for the wrong terms when checking.
