About the Name:

• The name magnetio is inspired a open sourced streaming platform service called stremio Stremio-Github
• The Magnet in Magnetio comes from the magnet links . I thought of using magnet links to extract the metadata and stream videos but when I went through the working plan, I realized that magnet links wont be enough. I'm gonna need .torrent files as well.
• For now I have not made any thought of changing the name of the project. (If you find a better one do recommend).

Tech Behind

• Entire BitTorrent protocol is going to be used in fetching contents from the torrent services.
• I'll be building a client to download and and decode video in playable format in real time, which I believe is going to be a tough task.
• I am also gonna need to learn socket programming to process https request and all the streaming and fetching process.
• The entire project is going to be in C. so yeah its going to be fun.

• For now its just this name, but Ill make a logo for Magnetio for sure.
