Hello! I need to write a desktop application for Windows OS that implements an interface for communicating with LLM. When running as "python script_name.py" everything works fine, but after compiling in exe file using pyinstaller, when running this exe file at the stage of loading the model I get an error: OSError('exception: access violation reading 0x0000000000000000').

Please tell me what the problem could be?

Access violation at 0x0000000000000000 usually means something’s calling a null pointer. In your case, likely llama_cpp.dll wasn't bundled or loaded properly.

Some quick checks:

• Try adding this to your hiddenimports:

  hiddenimports=["llama_cpp.llama_cpp"]

• Make sure the DLLs are actually in your final dist/ folder next to the executable.
• You might need to set collect_dynamic_libs("llama_cpp") manually into the binaries= section (you're already doing this — double check it’s working).

If you're on Windows, PyInstaller sometimes fails to hook C++ bindings cleanly.
You can also try passing --add-binary manually if needed.
