I work with the OME-Zarr team and PureJSImage has a lot of interesting features, but in particular having what you have for .svs for OME-Zarr would be great for demos/debugging.

If it is in scope for you adding more OME-Zarr support, I'd be happy to share it around the scientific bioimaging community.

I already have added some OME-Zarr support, so making something like the WSI demo around it sounds great. What would be most useful to you for demos/debugging? And if you have a few public OME-Zarr datasets you think I should support/test against, send them my way.

neat, thank you for the reply! it is a cool project, I think the first 50k-lines-a-day I've seen in the bioimaging space. most_ useful would for me woud be exacly what is shown for .svs with HTTP range requests, but with some OME-Zarr dataset.

OME-Zarr really shines with multidimensional data (x,y,z in a time series with multiple pseudocolor channels) and very large datasets (TB-scale) but probably out of scope. So WSI examples work fine.

Hey @lubianat thanks for those examples that was really helpful.

I also added a lot more OME-Zarr feature support to the library and published a new version, and I included the browser remote file fetcher helper code in the library so it should be more possible to use this easily on other websites. The demo page has an example of the code usage.
