[BUG] I cannot create an account using JUST my email

Describe the bug
I am trying to create a new account on ZooCode. I am using this link: https://www.zoocode.dev/sign-up I do not want to use gmail or github. Just plain email. After entering my credentials no verify mail is sent. I have clicked Try again but nothing happened.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Navigate https://www.zoocode.dev/sign-up on LibreWolf
2. Enter your credentials to create a new account
3. A new page comes and says We sent a verification link to myemail@proton.me. Click the link to verify your account.
4. No verification email is sent to inbox or spam folder.
5. Click Try again , iut redirects to enter credentials again!

Expected behavior
After entering credentials a new user must see a VERIFICATION link in his/her email.
