update to latest stable

Imho this is a great project and I would REALLY like it, if your changes would be merged into the mainline trunk.

In the meantime, please merge the changes done up until nginx 1.7.*

While I will leave this open since it's a valid issue, the fact of the matter is that I am currently way too busy so I am unlikely to work on this much in the future if at all.

I believe there were several people working on (or at least interested in) continuing development of this project, but for at least the medium term future it's not going to be me due to my limited time availability.
