@aristath As I said, I managed to build this WordPress SQLite version but on startup it still says Warning: Constant DB_ENGINE already defined in /wp-sqlite/wp-config.php on line 22
Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.
Please check that the mysqli PHP extension is installed and enabled. Any idea why? |

There should be a working SQLite WordPress version on GitHub, with everything already built into the core and working, not only the plugin. If there is already something, please link it here so we can test it.
The problem I have with the plugin (I didn't test it) is you first need an installed WordPress running on MySQL to then be able to activate the SQLite plugin and make it work.
If I'm wrong please correct me but it seems to me not very productive to have every prototype for WP be a plugin instead of a wp Branche.
