Rename plugin from “AI Experiments” to “AI” and define feature vs experiment classification

What problem does this address?

As the plugin matures and in alignment with the WordPress 7.0 release cycle, it should transition from being framed purely as “AI Experiments” to simply “AI”, with stable functionalities presented as Features and newer or exploratory functionality remaining labeled as Experiments. This issue tracks the renaming effort and the classification of which functionalities should be elevated to Features versus retained as Experiments.

Extracting out the next steps / action items from the WP 7.0 product call with Matt:

AI “wow”: audit the AI plugin/experiments and pick 1–3 impressive stable features (image editing a leading candidate); position as canonical “AI” plugin with stable/experimental split.

What is your proposed solution?

• Rename the plugin from “AI Experiments” to “AI”:
  • Update plugin name, headers, and references.
  • Update settings screen titles and labels.
  • Update documentation and readme references.
  • Ensure WordPress.org metadata aligns.
• Review and finalize which capabilities qualify as stable Features vs Experiments
• Introduce a clear distinction in the UI between Features and Experiments (perhaps with details added into Experiment Lifecycle doc?)
• Ensure experimental labeling remains visually clear where applicable

As I see it, there are 3 options to consider and while I have an opinion here I'll await others with strong opinions to comment before picking a path forward:

1. Add an AI top level menu and under that have Features, Abilities Explorer (if enabled), and Experiments
2. Rename the AI Experiments menu under Settings to AI and include a Features section as primary and Experiments section as secondary on that page
3. Above the AI Experiments menu under Settings add an AI Features menu

After discussing with @dkotter @peterwilsoncc @karmatosed, my preference here is to proceed with option 2 above. On option 1, since there is no (capital F) Feature that would exist within a top-level AI menu it feels like we're cluttering the admin by adding a new top-level menu for something that is mostly for settings/config. On option 3, we'll be moving experiments to features as things graduate within the plugin and creating migration needs as well as inaccurate documentation/tutorials for those things when in option 2 its still all on the same screen.

With that in mind, let's do the following (on top of the task list in the issue description):

• Rename the AI Experiments menu under Settings to AI
• Consider updating the URL param of that page from ai-experiments to ai
• Update page title from "AI Experiments" to "WordPress AI"
• Rename the Disable Experiments button to Disable AI (same thing for Enable Experiments to Enable AI)
• Update General Settings helper text to "Control whether AI is enabled for your site. When disabled, all features and experiments will be inactive regardless of their individual settings."
• Add an "Available Features" section that includes any of the features available in the plugin from Add generative image edit actions (inpaint and outpaint) #236 or Add smart background removal for images #237 (consider what other existing Experiments should be elevated to Features). For any Feature noted, provide a heading, an image (screenshot, designed graphic, etc), and a bit more description of the feature within a card display to give the Features more prominence than the Experiments sections below it
