Using WinMerge x64 v2.16.4.
Folder date is different, but still marked as identical.
This should be fixed.
Further bug, that when a folder is copied with Winmerge, the folder timestamp is not the same on target. Should be the same

Mhhh, if the content is equal, why should only the date from a folder mark it as different?
And when you copy a folder with the Windows Explorer, the copied folder has also a different timestamp. So it is by design.
Sorry, something went wrong.
I don't agree.
If I make a backup of a directory, it MUST be absolutely identical. Including the file and directory dates.
Making a copy of a directory with Total Commander or TeraCopy will copy the file and directory timestamps, too.
Unfortunately, WinMerge does not, however I would use it to make folder compare and backup contents of my directory.
WinMerge should at least have an option to copy/compare folder timestamps, too.
