Resolve "HACK" and "TODO" comments before publishing code #151

Shortterm hacky coding solutions are marked by comments starting with "HACK" and todos with "TODO". Before publishing the code, we should search for these and try to resolve them.

I've developed a habit of marking critical missing or invalid stuff with FIXME and TODO is more "would be nice to have".
