Hello @VyacheslavHashov i would like to take over your package on https://hackage.haskell.org/package/socket-unix

My intention is to merge the open pull requests and release a new minor version. I don't want to do much work on this library otherwise but will invite other maintainers if anyone volunteers.

I will e-mail you separately (in case you have don't get github notifications by e-mail).

Please let me know if you agree with this proposal within a month (until 16 may 2024).

For reference here is the hackage package takeover guide https://wiki.haskell.org/Taking_over_a_package

After the takeover you have a year to reclaim your package in case you didn't respond.

I'm now listed as maintainer for this package. My intention is to move the repository to my GitHub account so i can put the new source code there with the merge request. I will leave you as maintainer for a while but perhaps eventually i might remove you. You have one year from now until 3 February 2026 in case you want your package back. I don't have a timeline yet for when i want to update the source code. If anyone is also interested to be a maintainer let me know.

The new version is now published at https://hackage.haskell.org/package/socket-unix-0.2.1.0 the new repository can be found at https://github.com/flip111/haskell-socket-unix
