Open CMakeLists.txt and search for
set(default_vala_flags
you should see something like this

set(default_vala_flags
  "--thread"
  "--target-glib" "${GLIB2.0_VERSION}"
  "--fatal-warnings"
)

Remove the fatal-warnings line and it should build
