Time tracking not working when phone is locked

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start a 5 minute timer;
2. Lock your phone;
3. Wait 5 minutes;

What was expected to happen:
4. The timer to end and toaster message to appear.

What actually happened:
4. The timer is still counting down (eg 5 minutes passed but the timer is counting down from 4:34) a toaster message appears (yes, the timer is still mounting down but the toast appears saying the timer has finished)

I'm running grapheneOS, battery optimization is turned off, background usage is enabled, app overlay and usage is enabled.

I've enabled exploit protection compatibility and gave it another go, this time I've set a 5 minute tracker in parallel using the pre installed clock app that comes with grapheneOS. I unlocked the phone and still had 11 seconds to go on the clock app but trease showed 4:53 minutes still to go.

Yep exactly, I don't get any notifications when I start a timer in Trease
