Hallo,
I am reaching out to express my interest to work on this project.

I have many years of app development experience most in Java stack but i have exposure to the TypeScript area as well. I want to contribute. Mostly on the localization area for now. I want to add support for German language intiatially. Once I have better understanding of the project I would like to contribute more.

OpenMAIC is fully open-source — you don't need to be formally "added" as a contributor. Just fork the repo, make your changes, and open a PR. The maintainers will review and merge it.

Great timing on the German localization — the i18n system was just migrated to i18next (PR #331, merged today). Adding a new language is now as simple as:

1. Copy lib/i18n/locales/en-US.json to lib/i18n/locales/de-DE.json
2. Translate the values (keep the keys unchanged)
3. Open a PR

No code changes needed beyond the JSON file — i18next auto-discovers locale files at build time.

A few tips:

• Use en-US.json as your reference (not zh-CN.json)
• Check existing language PRs
