Strange, the K800i version i got from Dedomil (assuming this is the one you're referring to, and not the KU800) is fine:

Oh sorry, I'm stupid, I had the speedhack enabled, and it looks like it's not compatible with this game.

But there's a different issue, which is that the 5 key works as a menu confirm key on actual phones, but not on FJ+, which I think might be related to issue #48 . Perhaps it's worth closing this erroneously created issue by me (sorry) but still investigating the keycode and game action issues.
