The modern, accurate Genesis emulator out there and doesn't have any performance issues in casual use compared to BlastEm (#2771). ares also supports 32X, CD and CD 32X (#1563). So were it included, there would be no need to update PicoDrive32x (#2898).

NB, PicoDrive has evolved a lot in recent years, both in supporting more hardware and in emulation quality. Besides, I'd say it's still way faster than any other 32x emulator out there. Not that I want to coax you into something, though...
