I've done this 3 years ago as a side project. I'm sure that a ton has changed in the Cardboard APIs, and so would suggest learning how to do this the right and modern way, and using this more of an inspiration.

Moreover, I don't remember anything about this and wouldn't want to relearn it, so unfortunately I can't help you. Sorry.
