Migrated from ROADMAP.md as part of moving roadmap tracking into this Project.
Goal
OpenAI and Anthropic APIs with user-supplied keys, stored in the OS credential store (never in SQLite, logs, or exports), with an explicit local-vs-cloud indicator in the UI.
Status of planning
Not yet broken into implementation tasks. Detailed acceptance criteria and a task-level plan will be written (via this project's Subagent-Driven Development workflow) when this phase starts. This issue tracks the phase-level goal from the roadmap; treat it as a placeholder for that plan, not a finished spec.
