Since the update released at "2024-11-23", Spyglass return errors at some specific entries like:

  • font: (Only makes valid the fonts that are installed in vanilla, but in prev. Versions of Spyglass didn't flag an issue)

For the first issue, there's currently a bug where it reuses cached schemas of the wrong version. Try resetting the cache by running Spyglass: Resect Project Cache (see #1655)

The second issue is probably because you don't have the resource pack open in the same workspace. We'll improve this in the future so it doesn't show an error, but for now you could just have the RP open as a second folder in vscode.

@misode misode changed the title "custom_model_data" and "font" returns an error for any value References to resource packs show undeclaredSymbol warnings Dec 10, 2024

I've slighly modified your issue since the other part is technically just a duplicate of #1655
