In version 1.42, I am unable to access ESI through SMT to update my role position.

There is no such issue in version 1.41a. Due to geographical factors, the speed of accessing ESI in my network environment is slow. But this different situation should not occur in two different versions of the same software. So I think this is a bug. I hope you can fix it.
