Will every Hydrogen store eventually break without updating?

Hi guys

Can you explain to me that since the every Storefront API version stops working after a maximum of 12 months, all my customers' custom stores written with Hydrogen will suddenly stop working after a year without updating?

From documentation:

However, if your app uses a stable version that is no longer supported, then Shopify falls forward and responds to your request with the same behaviour as the oldest supported stable version.

It's worth noting that any merchant should plan to have some level of maintenance to their site though, regardless of which approach they take, as all things break on a long enough time horizon.
