This document in #12 has a specific section for finality which includes:

  • links to security proofs in Crosslink docs.
  • explanation of how our BFT protocol and customizations preserve that proof's assumptions.
  • links to security audits of the protocol design and findings related to finality.
  • a section about "what about finality stalls / contingency mode".
