Our ideal here is that the prototype reaches a very mature state that's close to real-world ready, as much as is feasible by (nearly) unilateral effort by our team.

After that, we "productionize" the result by collaborating directly with the rest of the Zcash community to:

  • Community support for Network Upgrade inclusion
  • ZIP review
  • Security Auditing and Protocol Analysis
  • Merging implementation into Zebra releases
  • Technical documents to support public awareness efforts
