The morphball does not work with Terraria overhaul

Everytime i press mount with it equiped it just displays the particles. I got around this by having it pre equiped then enabling overhaul but when i try to install the bombs my game just crashes. ( using overhaul 4.5.3 and the latest version of the metroid mod)
