but I've also found that some removed websites still work, such as:

and some which remain, but don't work:

(tested on Brave, since half of the currently listed websites don't work on Firefox anyways)

While writing my old html website I came across this awesome site! So maybe I will leave it here as another suggestion:
http://retro.maniek86.xyz - It's not super fancy looking but it is a new site that works on old browsers (like Netscape 3.0). Of course no CSS and only tables used for layout!
