Marquee select only items FindIt sees at the moment

I've noticed from several videos that people seem to be in pain when they try to delete e.g. decals which are usually below the stack. They end up deleting everything just to get the decals away.

One simple feature would be to filter the selected marquee items with currently found items FindIt finds.
E.g.

1. Search for your favorite prop using FindIt.
2. Tick MoveIt marquee tool checkbox [ ] Select only items FindIt has found (the new feature)
3. Marquee select the items

Challenge is how to make the FindIt -> MoveIt to talk each other about the filtered props FindIt has found.

I had similar request but using very different approach.

Replace the filters list with a "selected assets" icon grid...

So you just select an area and everything in the area is grouped by asset (eg. I might have 10 trees selected, but there are 3 types of tree; there would be 3 icons in the grid - one for each type of tree - with the count for each type overlaid on top of the icon).

This way I can see at a glance all the stuff I have selected, and just click to toggle selection of a given asset (deselected assets would remain in the icon grid to allow re-selection; until a complete new selection is made by dragging on the map at which point the whole grid is replaced by the assets in that new selection).

There could be macroscopic filters at the top (building, tree, prop, etc) but as little icon-only toolbar (similar to the Improved Content Manager mod). Also a "find it" style search box to quickly filter the list of selected assets thus enabling faster toggling. An "invert selection" button would toggle all assets; useful if I just want a couple of specific assets selected - I can search to find and deselect them, then invert selection so that they are the only ones selected.

How to indicate what items in the grid are selected? No idea. Maybe change background color or draw line through them or make very transparent so they look disabled or something?
