3D template matching in VPP_tomo

I am new to the PyTom. I have several datasets were collected with VPP and defocus 0.5um.
I want to confirm before I start that whether the 3D template matching will works on this type datasets?

Hey @yanhezhao,

If you just want template matching, I would advise you to use our improved template matching code instead: https://github.com/SBC-Utrecht/pytom-match-pick

In there you can definitely supply the --defocus and --phase-shift!

@yanhezhao It definitely works. You only need to confirm that if particle is white, background is dark, then you reference should also be white, vice versa.
