About Obsidian's upcoming native PDF annotation support

As of Feb. 2024, Obsidian's roadmap says that a native PDF annotation feature is a planned feature, but they are currently awaiting the upstream library PDF.js to support annotation.

When it comes to reality, what will it mean for PDF++?
Well, PDF++ will be helpful even after that happens. Why?
First of all, PDF++ is not all about annotation. It also adds countless QOL improvements to the built-in PDF viewer. More importantly, PDF++'s backlink highlighting has a unique character in the context of note-taking.
