The ability to drag and drop highlighted or selected text onto the canvas would be great. I consider switching to Obsidian from Logseq, where that functionality is already implemented (it is possible in Heptabase as well).
Right now, the annotation must be copied, the canvas must be double-clicked and the annotation pasted into the canvas.
Directly dragging and dropping the annotation or selection would be great.
Dragging and dropping could be done with a modifier key like ctrl, or automatically, when text is higlighted or already selected.
No idea, whether this will be possible with Obsidian, but it would be a gamechanger, making the workflow so much faster.
