Currently taking an extended gap year to try things like game development, AI, and making my first contributions to an OSS project. Hello everyone, my name is qiying, I go by Erica, I'm a software developer with 3-4 year of experience, and currently a Master's student at UT Austin. I took a class on parallel computing last fall, and we did one project with Rust and I loved it, we also learned about GPUs, and it's a fascinating field. I hope to learn and contribute if I can.

Yep, on purpose. There is a comment explaining why around here but the tl;dr is pull vs push and discoverability of previous discussions and solutions.
