Running the Script

  2. Download the automate_typing_speed_test.py script and the chromedriver executable.

  3. Open the script in a text editor and update the os.environ["PATH"] += os.pathsep + r'path/to/chromedriver' line with the correct path to the chromedriver executable on your system.

  4. Save the changes to the script.

  5. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the directory where the script is located.

  6. Run the script using the following command:

python TypingTest.py

  1. Sit back and relax as the script automatically completes the typing speed test on 10FastFingers.

Customization

You can customize the behavior of the script by modifying the following variables in the automate_typing_speed_test.py script:

  • NUM_ROUNDS: The number of test rounds to perform.
  • ROUND_DELAY: The delay (in seconds) between each test round.
  • SHOW_BROWSER: Set to True if you want to see the browser window while the script runs. Set to False for headless execution.
