Context

When translating from english to other languages is important to take into account some guidelines in order to have a consistent style of translation. Also some words might not have a 1-1 replacement in the target language.

To alleviate the translation task and keep a consistent tone and language it is importante to create a general style and tone guide, plus some indications that might be specific for a given languages.

Proposal

Expand the translation documentation to include a glossary and some guidelines.

  • Include a new section on the website regarding general guidelines regarding style and tone.
  • Create general glossaries for the ecosystems with common words, idioms and expressions used throughout the pydata ecosystem
