Mesh adaptation with uniform triangles creates odd triangles close to first wall #71

@andreas-kleiner

Description

@andreas-kleiner

When creating an adapted mesh with uniform triangles the first wall is not represented smoothly, but shows wiggles. There are also lots of triangles appearing close to the first wall that are very narrow in radial direction and stretched in direction tangential to the wall (see plot below).
This was done on stellar with code compiled at commit dfb5984
The initial mesh was created using /projects/M3DC1/scorec/stellar/intel2021.1.2-intelmpi2021.3.1/2023.1-240113/bin/m3dc1_mfmgen
This case is located on Stellar in /scratch/gpfs/akleiner/snap_mesh_adapt_uniform

This plot shows three Zoom levels of the same mesh. Note that there are no bold lines in this plot. What appears to be bold is an accumulation of narrow triangles.
