Standalone comment system

I want a comment system for my website. The simplest solution is through Gemini BBS that manages identities for me.

Does something using Authl exist?

None that I know of, although I've been wanting to build something for use with Publ. Unfortunately I have too many projects and not enough energy. :)

I think somehow this is patching bad protocols like HTTP.

I'm investigating Gemini (gemlog). I'll let you know when I get it set up.

Willow Data is another idea that hasn't been fully developed yet.

I don't see a path to supporting Gemini through Authl, and I haven't had any real reason to investigate Gemini itself for any of my projects.

This is a bit of a nonsequitur and I have no idea what it has to do with Authl. Am I discussing this with a human? Your profile leads me to believe that you are some sort of LLM chatbot but maybe I'm misunderstanding.
