Chrome Web Store v0.0.8 (July 7 2020) throws 'Invalid manifest' error #2

At this writing, the Chrome Web Store refuses to allow direct install of the extension, throwing an 'Invalid manifest' error.

@roycewilliams Hi, I just tried re-installing from the web store and I am unable to reproduce. Can you share any more details?

Hey, thanks for checking! It's literally only the "Invalid manifest" error back from the site.
Version info: Chrome 86.0.4240.111, {"arch":"x86-64","os":"linux"}
I also tried beta/dev and unstable/canary - same result.
